Please help us celebrate the 36th annual Show and continue the tradition of San Francisco being home to the most prestigious art and antiques show on the West Coast. The Show benefits a local nonprofit, Enterprise for Youth, that helps our youth gain professional and life skills. The success of the Show is due largely to the commitment of our knowledgeable and gracious volunteers. We are grateful for and count on your continued support; please plan to join us this year!
For helping us, you will receive entry to the Show gratis on the day that you volunteer, as well as two General Admission tickets for show days of your choosing. Following the Show, we will gather at a Volunteer Party to honor your hard work.

2017 Volunteer Opportunities
Gala invitations mailing: September 10
Show Days: Thursday, October 26 to Saturday, October 28 - 10 am to 7 pm
Sunday, October 29 - 11:30 am to 5 pm
Floor Volunteers: circulate the floor at the Show, providing guidance for guests and helping exhibitors that need to leave their booths for a short period of time.
Lecture Series Volunteers: scan and sell electronic tickets using a handheld device before each lecture. Tickets may be presented on a smart phone or a printed ticket. Volunteers should be comfortable using simple electronics and smart phone applications. Volunteers also assist guests in finding seats and help set up the Lecture Theatre by placing literature on the chairs. Volunteers may also be asked to assist with setting up and assisting during for the Book Signings that take place after most lectures.
Welcome Volunteers: make sure every guest’s entry into the Show is simple and pleasant. There are two roles:
Greeters will welcome guests, ensure they are in the correct line, hand out Show Catalogues and tote bags, and offer re-entry stamps to guests exiting the Show. During the early morning shifts (9:00 - 10:00), volunteers will need to escort guests back to special areas where breakfasts and talks are taking place.
Ticket Scanners will use a hand-held device to scan guests' tickets at the front door. Tickets may be presented on a smart phone or a printed ticket. Volunteers should be comfortable using simple electronics and smart phone applications. We will offer a short training for this, but rest assured it is quite easy.
Office Volunteers: work with the staff in miscellaneous office tasks using spreadsheets, databases, and word documents, stuffing, stamping, and mailing or as needed based on the project. Hours are flexible and set based on availability and project deadlines.
Special Events Volunteers: work with the office staff in managing special events before the show, such as checking in guests, setting up the venue, and assisting the host.
